Officiant fees to benefit: New Jersey Maritime Museum
A Registered 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Organization

Officiant fees must be paid prior to day of ceremony!

Send e-mail confirmation of payment to curator@NJMaritimeMuseum.org
All officiant fees, made payable to NJ Maritime Museum by check, cash or credit card,
 are tax-deductible under Section 170 of the IRS Code. 
A receipt for this purpose will be issued at the time of payment.
Tips paid to the officiant are not tax-deductible but are appreciated!
No refunds will be issued if cancellation occurs within 90 days of the scheduled event.

SPECIAL NOTE:  Typically, it is not necessary for the officiant to attend wedding rehearsals.  If, however, this is required - based on the officiant's availability and the wishes of the bride and groom - the applicable officiant fee will be doubled to cover this added service.


LICENSE REQUIREMENT:  Under no circumstances, without exception, will a wedding or civil union ceremony take place without first completing all necessary paperwork, inclusive of producing a valid marriage or civil union license. Additionally, 2 witnesses, 18 years or older, are required to sign the license in the presence of the officiant.  These requirements will not be waived.
